Please consult the FSHI Book Prize Rules before making nominations. Nominations must be submitted using the FSHI Nomination Form. Nominations and three copies of the nominated books must be received in the BSA Office by *** Wednesday 31 March 2024 ***.
The Foundation for the Sociology of Health and Illness (FSHI) Book Prize of £1,000 is awarded annually each September to the author(s) or editor(s) of the book making the most significant contribution to medical sociology/sociology of health and illness and having been published over the three years preceding 1st January of the year in which the award is made.
We welcome nominations from all over the world and from anyone teaching, researching, studying, or working in the area of the sociology of health and illness. We look forward to hearing from you!
