Every March and October the SHI Foundation awards grants to medical/ health sociologists. The four funding schemes (coordinated by Ewen Speed, Judy, Green, Stephani Hatch and Sue Ziebland) can cover a full year salary for a recent post-doc, or provide support to develop an application for research funding, fund meetings, workshops and symposiums or provide a travel grant.
