We have made some minor revisions to our website, and to the forms used for applications to the Foundation’s four funding schemes.
On the website, we have added information on our process for assessing applications, including in situations where a trustee has a conflict of interest.
On each application form, we have added a question about where the applicants heard about the scheme they are applying for. This is to help to inform our communications and publicity work. Additionally, on the application form for our Mildred Blaxter postdoctoral fellowship scheme, we have added questions for equality and diversity monitoring purposes. They ask about the sex and ethnic background of fellowship candidates; responding to both questions is optional. We may in future add questions pertaining to other protected characteristics.
Applicants are asked to use the latest version of application forms when submitting applications to the Foundation’s funding schemes. These can be accessed via the link on the page for the relevant scheme.
