1. Introduction

1.1 The Foundation is a registered charity whose objects are to promote and improve for the public benefit social scientific research, education and scholarship in the field of the sociology of health and illness.

1.2 The Foundation wishes to encourage applications for grants to fund or help fund appropriate educational events, for approval by the Foundation.
