Terms and Conditions of Grant for Higher Education Fund

3. Host Institution's Obligations

The Host Institution confirms and agrees:

3.1 that the post-graduate has been chosen on their ability;

3.2 to the post-graduate carrying out research or studies in the relevant department as named in the application;

3.3 that the facilities stated in the application and in these terms and conditions will be made available;

3.4 that the work proposed can be carried out and that other funding exists to cover completion of the work;

3.5 that it will vouch for the research that has been completed by cooperating and signing a final report at the end of the grant period;

3.6 that health and safety requirements are met in relation to the conduct of the research or studies and that effective checks are made on the validity of the research or studies;

3.7 that it will allow the Foundation reasonable access to the post-graduate and any facilities on reasonable notice to enable the Foundation to conduct monitoring;

3.8 that it will not enter into any obligations with any third parties which may be incompatible or inconsistent with these terms and conditions; and

3.9 that it will ensure that the funding is applied exclusively and appropriately in support of the research or studies in accordance with the application.
