10. Extensions/Variation

10.1 The Foundation may consider applications for an extension or variation of the grant, in particular if:

10.1.1 The post-graduate suffers a serious illness; or
10.1.2 There is a serious disruption to their research or studies.

10.2 Any extension or variation is at the discretion of the Foundation and will not be available when there has simply been a failure to write up a thesis.
